Self-reported Motorcycle Riding Behavior in Southeast of Iran

Background: Motorcyclists are among the greatest vulnerable individuals of road accident victims. Their behavior has a significant correlation with increased injury and mortality rate. Determining risky unsafe behaviors motorcycle drivers is necessary for preventing riders other citizen from potential risks. Objectives: The aim this study was to determine driving motorcyclists in Iran. Methods: A cross-sectional done 2019 Sistan Baluchestan Province as second widest province Using randomized sampling method, we included 613 province. To collect data, Persian version Motorcycle Riding Behavior Questionnaire (MRBQ), standard questionnaire, used. For data analysis, descriptive analytical statistics such one-way analysis variance (ANOVA), t-test, linear regression were used by SPSS software 21. Results: age range 57% motor 15 - 30 years, 50% them did not use any safety equipment. About 58% subjects had started riding under 18 years old, 73% have license.
